This printing technique, so ubiquitous in all kinds of manufacturing processes, is moving from analog to digital. As traditional screens made with emulsion sheets give way to digitally created screens, the technology continues to evolve. At OHTAS, we have developed the perfect film for an era in which digital screen making advances at a rapid pace. Not only do we develop our
own film, but also our own screen making machines.
Durable enough that you can use it over and over again. Superior transparency that ensures beautifully crisp results. The digital screen making machines we work with are designed to make the most of our digital screen printing film, which we perfected through a series of trial and error. The entire process, from sending the data to wiping down the new screen with dedicated cleaner, takes about three minutes. With this technology, anyone can quickly and easily print the exact design they want. Our goal is to make the film and digital screen making machines we developed a true standard around the world in the not so distant future.

We also create special inks
unlike any other in the world.
When OHTAS was founded in 1948, we not only manufactured all sorts of dyes and stains but also began to develop special inks. We succeeded in delivering some truly unique and special inks that never discolor, inks that never fade, inks that are water-resistant but still dissolve upon contact with hot water, and much more. We listen to what our customers want and will try our hand at anything, no matter how difficult. No matter how much time and effort we expend developing something for a customer, we are always confident that the know-how we acquire will come in useful one day.
