About our film

Q1 Can I choose the width and length of the film I want?: A1
Depending on the product, there are established official regulations that determine width, length, and so on. However, we may be able to accommodate your request, so please do not hesitate to ask.

Q2 Can you change the color of the film?: A2
We cannot change the color of only one roll of film. The color of the film can only be changed if you purchase a complete production lot and are prepared to wait approximately four months for the delivery.

Q3 Can you make film to order?: A3
This is possible if you can give us some time until the delivery and expect to use a significant amount of film.

Q4 How long will it take until my order is delivered?: A4
For products that we regularly keep in stock, your order will be delivered between one and five days after you place it. For made-to-order products, please allow for approximately three months.

Q5 How many times can I use the film?: A5
This will depend on your requirements. Please try a sample first. According to our tests, the film can be used to print approximately 1,000 times when printing by hand using water-based ink and a soft squeegee, and approximately 800 times when using plastisol ink and semi-automatic equipment. We have received reports that when using solvent ink, the film remained intact after 50 printings and about ten washings.

Q6 Can I use both water-based and oil-based inks?: A6
Yes, you can use both.

Q8 I use a machine that is not one of your digital screen-making machines. Can I use your film?: A8
If you use a machine with thermal heads, you should be able to use our film. Many of our customers use our film with third-party machines.

Q1 Can you make a sample screen, so I can compare it to the screens with emulsion sheets that I use right now?: A1
Certainly. Please send us a frame and data that you are using right now. We will make a sample sheet and send it to you.

Q2 I am considering buying one of your machines. Can you give me a demo?: A2
Certainly.

Q3 Can you do the initial setup for me?: A3
Yes, we can do this. A separate installation fee will be added to your total. Please ask us for more information when you purchase your machine.

Q4 Which operating systems and file formats are the machines compatible with?: A4
Our machines are compatible with Windows 7, 8, and 10. They are compatible with files in BMP, TIFF, PNG, and PDF formats.

Q5 Can I use data created in Illustrator?: A5
You can use Illustrator data saved in PDF format.

Q6 Does my new machine require periodic maintenance?: A6
Yes. Please clean thermal heads and platen rollers with a dedicated cleaning product. (The cleaning frequency will depend on how frequently a machine is used. However, we recommend cleaning after every 20 screens.)

Q7 How will the machine be delivered after I place my order?: A7
We ship machines within Japan. Shipping cost depends on your location.

Q8 My screen-making machine stopped working properly. Can you check it and repair it?: A8
Yes, we perform checks and repairs anywhere in Japan. Please get in touch so that we can communicate with you by phone, fax, or email about the parts that are causing problems.

Q1 Can you make an original color for me?: A1
Yes, for an additional color-mixing charge.

Q2 Do you use both water-based and oil-based inks?: A2
We mainly manufacture water-based inks. We also manufacture some oil-based inks. Please get in touch and tell us about your needs.

Q3 Do you have heat-resistant ink?: A3
Yes.

Q4 What kinds of inks do you sell?: A4
We manufacture a wide variety of different inks.
